Judges

We are proud to have Tanya Arnhold of Atlanta and Thomas Minieri of North Carolina as the judges for our competition. Tanya has been to the studio before, performing at our July Showcase.

Thomas Minieri Thomas Minieri has been a professional latin and ballroom competitor and instructor since the age of seventeen. Shortly after moving to Charlotte from Boston, MA in 2004, Thomas opened DanceSport Carolina!

Master of Ceremonies

Elizabeth Augenstein A professional ballroom and latin dancer since she was seventeen, Elizabeth has won numerous awards including being the first female in ten years to win the prestigious Top Teacher award at the National Virginia Star Ball. She has an extensive ballet, tap and jazz backround which she uses to compliment her teaching. Elizabeth currently competes with several of her students in local and national competitions. She also enjoys working with couples, teaching social dance! In addition to dancing, she has won several beauty pageants and is the current Miss Charlotte 2008.
