Tennessee Fall Newcomers Ball
Ballroom Dance Competition & Showcase
We are excited to offer our second annual in-studio competition. Entry types include Pro-Am, Student-Student, and Professional. Entries judged on proficiency (a numeric percent score). Dance categories include Country-Western and traditional ballroom: American Smooth and Rhythm, International Standard and Latin.
All events occur on Saturday, September 13, 2008. Most heats (other than Professional) will take place during the Matinee (which includes a cold cuts buffet lunch). The evening session will have a general dance, showcase competitions and an outstanding professional show. Dinner tickets for nearby restaurants are included in the Full Access package. As a bonus, the Full Access package includes admission to the Big Band Friday night party on September 12. Dance the ballroom you love to authentic big band era music played by the Brad Walker Orchestra!
